Cocoon reveals strategy to become the go-to protection partner for families

Cocoon, the Adelaïde Group’s specialist individual insurance digital broker, is announcing a bold strategic repositioning aimed at individual customers as part of its new 2024-2028 plan.

One year after the arrival of the new CEO, Fanny Ridet, Cocoon is reaffirming its objective of strong, sustainable growth and development in line with the ‘Better Future 28’ strategic plan. The company is refocusing on the health and death and disability protection needs of families and aims to double in size by 2028 to consolidate its position as a major player in personal protection.

A new direction focused on sustainable growth and responsibility

In keeping with its values of responsibility, Cocoon is taking a committed approach by positioning itself as a genuine ‘well-being companion’ for its policyholders. Its aim is to offer policyholders personalised health and death and disability insurance solutions at every stage of their lives to help them preserve their well-being. Cocoon has established itself as a trusted player by combining expertise and innovation, while ensuring sustainable growth through efficient management and high-quality services.

“Our new positioning reflects our commitment to offering tailor-made solutions that meet the specific needs of all families. Through innovation and responsibility, we aim to create a sustainable growth model that supports families at every stage of their lives, guaranteeing security and peace of mind,” says Fanny Ridet, Cocoon’s General Manager.

As a subsidiary of the family-owned French insurance brokerage group Adelaïde, Cocoon is fully aligned with the ‘Better Future 28’ vision. Cocoon is committed to offering accessible and transparent solutions, marketed and managed in a quality and ethical manner, supporting a responsible development model with its insurance partners. This approach guarantees optimum security for policyholders, while contributing to a sustainable business environment.

Taking concrete action to ensure a strong impact on policyholders

To make this new strategy a reality, Cocoon is putting in place a number of key initiatives aimed at strengthening its commitment to its customers and sustaining its growth:

       • An expanded range of solutions: by the end of 2024, Cocoon will have expanded its catalogue of health and death and disability solutions to better meet the needs of families and senior citizens. This expansion will enable Cocoon to adapt to demographic and societal changes while meeting the needs of different customer segments.

       • Stronger partnerships: thanks to strategic alliances with renowned players such as Fidelidade and Generali, Cocoon is strengthening its range and guaranteeing reliable and sustainable insurance solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and security.

       • A redesigned website: Cocoon’s new website, designed to offer an intuitive, high-quality user experience, features simplified and personalised navigation, making it easier for policyholders to quickly access relevant information. This revamped site (is) Cocoon’s digital showcase, aligned with industry best practice, while continually evolving to meet customer expectations.

       • Optimised use of data: Cocoon is strengthening the use of data at the heart of its business by creating a dedicated department to improve performance management and offer services that are increasingly tailored to policyholders’ needs. This data-driven approach will enable us to provide policyholders with more personalised support while optimising the efficiency of our services.

       • A high-impact advertising campaign: at the start of autumn, Cocoon launched a new advertising campaign designed to reinforce its family-oriented image, with a particular focus on senior citizens and grandparents. This initiative reinforces Cocoon’s identity as a protector of families, in all their diversity.

With this new strategic plan, Cocoon is reaffirming its role as a partner committed to protecting families, by combining innovation, proximity and sustainable growth.
